It's a feijoa (Feijoa sellowiana)! If you're not from NZ or South America, find out more about it here. It's a delicious fruit that reminds me of the taste of a guava, perfect for stewing or having feijoa feasts (just eating too much of it in one sitting, like my boys like to do!).






















These books must be quite collectible; in my Google search on the first one I found a book dealer selling it for US$80 (!) and Kuma is also normally quite expensive on Trade Me. But you know I'd never spend that much, hey ;)
